Armsyde B and B in Padstow

Welcome to Armsyde, a stroll away from the centre of Padstow.

Whilst living in South America we needed a base in England to come home to. Padstow seemed the ideal place and so 18 years ago we bought ‘Armsyde’. Although the town has changed significantly in that time it has always remained a jewel in Cornwall’s Crown. The magic of Padstow has evolved over the years and this historic fishing villagehas adapted bravely to the many changes it has gone through. It has remained largely unspoilt and maintains a charm that attracts thousands of visitors each year. Fishing and pleasure boats moor side by side in the working harbour, which is the hub of Padstow and around which everything revolves.

Armsyde Bed and Breakfast is a large, three storey, 18th century town house situated in the heart of old Padstow, here in North Cornwall. A former Sea Merchant’s house, our B&B accommodation has been completely renovated and decorated to a high standard in a style in keeping with the character and age of the house and retaining many of the original features.

Our aim is to make your stay as comfortable as possible and we have a wealth of local knowledge to share with you.

We have four rooms available and would love to welcome you on your stay.

Up and coming...

We are open all year from the 2nd Sept onwards, apart from 20th-31st Oct and Christmas and New Year weeks.

What our guests say

“Absolutely loved our stay at Armsyde - it was everything we were expecting and so much more..The location of Armsyde is phenomenal - literally a stones throw from Padstow harbour which is brimming with popular eateries. The best part about our stay was leaving with a total feel of satisfaction and sense of value for money. We would recommend both the venue and location to anyone and will definitely be back!” Amy

“Completely blew us away. Having stayed in a lot of B&Bs, we agreed that this one was by far the best. The owners are two of the most welcoming, kind and interesting people we have ever met. They were beyond helpful and so informative about places to visit during our stay. This place really is the ultimate home from home, we can't wait to go back!” Frank

“Chris and Pete were so warm, generous with their time and advice and so welcoming it was like 'a home from home' and having stayed in many places, I really do not use that term lightly. The rooms were light, bright, spacious and comfy. Nothing was too much trouble, with a lovely selection of breakfast ideas on offer. The nicest B&B I've stayed in and made our 'foodie' indulgence weekend in Padstow even better.” Marijke

“Couldn't have been better! Chris and Peter are excellent hosts, we received a warm welcome and were delighted with our room. The house is beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable. The location couldn't be better for ease of access to the town centre and the breakfast is delicous. We can't wait to return later in the year! Highly recommended!”Jot
